Control

For some odd reason the word "control" keeps popping up. Isn't it funny that we try to "control" our environment, our circumstances, every detail of our life and then something happens... We find out our health is not what we thought, we lose our job, or ... suddenly "control" is not what we anticipated. We [...]

Home Grown…Home Made!

We decided to attempt a garden this year.  We have done gardens in the past...last year we had a successful container garden.  Sometimes our gardens work and sometimes the gardens are "a lot of work", without yielding too much harvest.  My husband built a raised garden bed in an area of the yard that would [...]

Each misfortune cultivates a renewed appreciation.

Each obstacle fosters a new level of perseverance.

Each sadness teaches a greater depth of compassion.

Each challenge harvests a new field of possibilities.

We must all fall down to rise up.

Again and again and again.
