Happy 4th of July! When the Memorial Day storm hit us, this plant was very damaged. We were not sure that it would make it. I wish I had a "before" picture when the plant was completely ravaged! I trimmed back the plant and kept tending to it. To our amazement, this week the plant [...]

One of the Merriam-Webster's Dictionary definitions for "Fringe": "something that is marginal, additional, or secondary to some activity, process, or subject" I grew up in a large family with seven siblings, five of us are married, six of us have children. A family gathering for the holidays easily can be 25-30 family members! In my [...]
Do you have lukewarm relationship with your parent(s), sibling(s) or a friend? Have you ever had a disagreement with a loved one? All the festivities of the holidays are over, the tax season has officially begun. We have seen our first big snow storm, the temperatures are dropping, and this is the time of year, when I can "get in a funk." As this year comes to a close...I am reflecting on the events of this year. The biggest challenge for me as well as for some of my loved ones has been “Change.” For me 2018 has been a year of Transformation and Transition which comes in all different forms: A new job or possibly added [...]
Informative & Beautiful article about the benefits and possibilities of “Letting Go…”:).
This post was inspired by a stressful situation that I couldn’t let go of, long beyond its solution. No matter how hard I tried. Day in day out. The worry would reappear. Then someone close to me suggested “I shed the stress”. And a lightbulb went off. Each time the repetitive thought appeared, I imagined a tree shedding its leaves. A golden leaf for every anxious thought. This visualization process made all the difference. And so did writing about it. 📝🍂
If you had a magic wand, what would you ask to disappear in your life right now?
What would you say good-bye to?
Once and for all.
It could be an emotion. Or a thought.
A relationship. Or a job.
A place or a thing.
Stress management is a shedding process ℘ Not an acquisition project
It’s time to let go of what drains you.
Let go of what holds you back.

This past Spring I bought some plants & flowers from a local Farmstand. Part of the checkout process was to give an invitation to join GrowIt a gardening social media platform for gardeners to share their pics of plants, ask questions, problem solve with the community. It was all given to me with a package [...]
