I wrote this piece last year in honor of my mom for Mother’s Day…it never gets old missing you, Mom!:)

Photo Challenge: Awakening In between the raindrops, sleet and snow...I was able to get some flower buds that had been washed in rainwater! Each season has its color. Spring is full of every color imaginable; pinks, orchids, yellows, different shades of red splashing the landscape sharply contrast the dreary white & grayish tones of Winter. [...]
Photo Challenge:Rise/Set The day begins quiet. I am the only one awake. I do my devotional, my meditation. I glance outside and see this sunrise. I know its going to be a great day, full of possibilities... Look at the beautiful colors...the sky is a canvas!
Daily Post: Warning As we left on our vacation...the weather was a non issue; clear and dry conditions. As we were hours into driving to our destination...the weather worsened! Suddenly the traffic came to a screeching halt! Something was wrong up ahead... Just a warning to slow down and make adjustments for the weather and [...]
Daily Post: Patience I can hear my mother say, “You need to be patient!” I am an impatient person! Life is fast paced in this technology driven, "hit a button", "fast food drive up", "instant gratification" world we all live in. Everything should have happened 15 minutes ago...it can feel like we are behind instead [...]
