My family celebrated Father’s Day yesterday! We gathered at our daughter & fiancé’s home where a feast was prepared!

We started with a fresh Greek salad, romaine Lettuce, red onion, feta cheese and kalamata olives with a light balsamic vinegar dressing

Next we had grilled burgers, sausages and potatoes. Our daughters did a recipe we all enjoy corn off the cob with sautéed peppers, delicious!!! I brought potato chips but they never were opened!!!

We finished off the meal with homemade coconut cream pie which was so refreshing and light!

If you have read posts of recipes we try or like you will have noticed, we are “Foodies!” We enjoy great fresh ingredients, prepared in a simple way that enhances the flavors and showcases the food.
I am truly grateful for the time and effort our daughters and our daughter‘s fiancé put into creating a memorable Father’s Day for their dad. Our time together with all the little details so smoothly pulled together as they worked together in the kitchen like a fine tuned orchestra demonstrated their love for their dad as well as honoring him. He works at a hospital, with Covid limitations having a small intimate family gathering to celebrate is beyond meaningful and has been sorely missed!

I am blessed to be married to a great dad and husband who helps his daughters whenever he can. He stops what he is doing and answers questions, gives out advice and helpful tips. We, his family appreciate him on this Father’s Day!
Happy Father’s Day to all the dads. Hope everyone has a glorious day celebrating their dads.
