Happy 4th of July!

When the Memorial Day storm hit us, this plant was very damaged. We were not sure that it would make it. I wish I had a “before” picture when the plant was completely ravaged! I trimmed back the plant and kept tending to it. To our amazement, this week the plant is bursting with flower buds!

Gardening offers so many lessons, and so many opportunities of amazement and surprise…some wonderful and some like insect eaten leaves on tomatoes or grub eaten lawn not so wonderful. I learn something from every gardening experience.
